Soy candle wax is one of the cleanest burning and natural waxes.

Whether it’s for the season or just in general – one of the easiest ways to transform a mood at home is by lighting a candle. There’s just something so relaxing and comforting about candlelight. Ever tried having a soak by candlelight? It is a divine experience!

Not only do Sealuxe’s candles smell incredible (yes, many of you know this already) but they also burn clean. This means they don’t taint the air you breathe with nasty chemicals which are found in some candles.

Our candles are made from soy which is natural and burns cleaner than regular and inexpensive candles (might we caution you away from cheapo candles found in novelty stores?). You’ll know if your candle is paraffin as they produce a horrible soot that leaves a black mark on your wall or furniture from the burning wick.

Soy-based candles have a lower melting point and release no known carcinogens into the air. Those familiar with our soy candles will notice there is more of a liquid wax pool around the wick. This is the lower melting point we mentioned and in that pool is where the lovely scent of essential oils are released.

Soy candles are more cost-effective in the long run; they burn 50 percent longer than regular paraffin candles. SeaLuxe’s candles have a burn time that averages 30-40 hours. That’s a lot of good smellin’ light for your buck!
