The Ripple Effect

Join our beach clean-ups and help keep our shorelines free from plastic pollution.

Spend an hour with us cleaning our local beaches

Plastic pollution has become a world-wide environmental nightmare but you can help us battle back. We organize monthly beach clean ups around Crescent Beach that we would love your participation in. Join our "Ripple Effect" community to help us build community awareness about the trash we use, clean-up our local shoreline, meet like-minded friends, save the animals and get outside in nature!

" We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop. "

~ Mother Teresa

What is the Ripple Effect?

Plastic pollution has become a world-wide environmental nightmare and certainly something that needs to stop. We have written several blog posts to help you curb your own plastic use and how to make better shopping choices.

But let’s just suggest for a moment that we’ve looked after the pollution problem, we still have plastic in our oceans and they still need to be cleaned up. The Ripple Effect is the start of building awareness and confidence in every participants abilities to make a difference. The more participants, awareness and community we build the loader the echo across the ocean. We can’t do it alone but we must do what we can.

As a business owner who relies heavily on healthy oceans we strive for an environmentally and socially responsible business model.

We have an ocean-first mindset. From the farmers who hand-harvest, to the creation and formulation process to the designers of our packaging we take an ocean-first approach. We make products that biodegrade into healthy compost with packaging that is also biodegradable or in 100% recyclable glass or metal. We offset our carbon footprint by cleaning up plastics from our beaches and hosting community beach clean-up events with our community group called The Ripple Effect. It is my sincere wish that you will join us and possible start your own clean-up to create an even bigger wave.
