Do's
- Trim the Wick to 1/4 inch
- Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the vessel
- Place candle on heat resistant surface
- Keep lit candle away from children, pets or drafts
- Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight
- Clean the Container for reuse
Don't
- Leave a burning candle
unattended. - Burn candles near flammable
objects. - Don’t burn the candle all the
way to the bottom. Discontinue use when only 1/2 inch of wax remains to
avoid overheating the container.
Candle Safety
Before Lighting
Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn to prevent soot and ensure a clean, even burn. Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface to avoid heat damage and prevent tipping.
While Burning
Keep away from children or pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always keep an eye on your candle while it is lit. Ensure candles are kept away from flammable objects such as curtains, bedding, papers, and furniture. Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans, and air currents to prevent uneven burning and soot. Always use appropriate candle holders that are heat-resistant, sturdy, and large enough to contain any drips or melted wax. Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting. Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish the candle. Avoid splattering hot wax by never using water to extinguish a candle.
