Strawberry Facial Mask Recipe
Something we do from time to time is mash up our products. We mentioned our Goddess Grains Facial Cleanser in our last post, a favourite daily skin polisher due to its gentle ingredients. If you love it as much as we do, consider this skin-delicious facial mask!
Strawberries are one of the most cultivated berries in the country. While strawberries are available year-round with peak growing season from April to August, the juicy BC-grown strawberries are usually available around June. The exact month is dependent on weather – in 2016 BC-grown strawberries were ready mid-May, one of the earliest months on record for the local fruit!
Strawberries are terrific for your skin. They’re rich in vitamin C and are excellent for those with oily skin as they’re also acidic in nature. Strawberries are also wonderful at lightening acne scars in addition to dark spots, thanks to their ellagic acid.
Strawberry Facial Mask
- ½ c fresh strawberries (mashed)
- 1 tbs whole milk
- 1 tbs SeaLuxe Goddess Grains Facial Cleanser
Mix the mashed strawberries with the milk and Goddess Grains Facial Cleanser until it forms a paste. Spread on your face and neck and leave the mixture on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and gently dry your face by patting with a clean towel.
Enjoy your radiant skin after using this mask!
