Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Recipe
It’s October which means pumpkin spice is everywhere. Consuming it is a rite of passage into fall for adults, even though most of our brains still think it’s early September (maybe we could just burn that never-ending to-do list in the bonfire?!). Pumpkin spice that, pumpkin spice this. And now, yes, a pumpkin spice smoothie!
We admittedly OD on the flavour but we are a sucker for this recipe. It is a great way to add fiber to your day as well as the benefits of pumpkin which makes you feel fuller for longer.
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
½ cup canned pumpkin
1 tbsp raisins (we sometimes use 2-3 when our sweet tooth is acting up)
1/3 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp of pure vanilla extract (if you don’t have this on hand, skip it)
Pinch ground nutmeg
Pinch all spice
Blend and enjoy!
