When we talk about cleaner burning, we’re not talking about your car engine – we’re talking clean burning coconut and soy candles.

Since soy candles such as Sealuxe’s popular Echo, Westcoast, Anchor are natural and made out of vegetable and coconut oil, they burn cleaner than regular paraffin candles do. As a result, they don’t produce horrible soot like regular candles (you may have noticed these black marks on your wall, ceiling, or even on furniture!). Soy candles have a lower melting point and release no known carcinogens into the air. Because of this lower melting point, there is more of a liquid wax pool around the candle wick itself. This is where the lovely scent of the essential oils evaporate into the atmosphere.

As an added bonus – coconut andsoy candles burn 50 per cent longer than regular candles. Yes – they are more expensive on the whole to buy than paraffin wax candles but they are more cost-effective in the long run. Plus they smell absolutely wonderful!
