Seasonal Skin

But when fall comes, kicking summer out on its treacherous ass as it always does one day sometime after the midpoint of September, it stays awhile like an old friend that you have missed. It settles in the way an old friend will settle into your favorite chair and take out his pipe and light it and then fill the afternoon with stories of places he has been and things he has done since last he saw you.
— Stephen King

With a change in the weather comes a change in your skin. Maybe it’s breakouts or dullness or fine lines that have settled in after summer, for me it’s dry skin and scalp – blech! Whatever your issue, we have a mask to take care of it.

Recharge, Renew and Reduce - Seaweed Mask

With our Seaweed mask we have bottled up the wild bounty of the ocean and made the perfect concoction for a quick pick-me-up that also prevents tired-looking skin. When you use ocean botanicals in your skin care routine you are already at an advantage over non-users. Seaweeds contain a wide range of healing properties in the form of highly concentrated vitamins, nutrients and minerals that are essential to healthy cells. The best part about seaweed is how readily available and easy skin drinks up its goodness.

Get up and glow - Rose Mask

Our Rose mask will put a big smile on your skin cells. This mask contains dulse (a seaweed) which we’ve included because its rich mineral content is vital to keeping your skin metabolism healthy, turn over skin cells quickly and create a strong cellular wall to prevent damage. We’ve included rose and calendula (marigold) to feed your skin those powerful antioxidants to fight free radicals and give your skin the nourishment it needs to thrive.

Zit Zappers - Charcoal Mask

Cover every inch of your face with our Charcoal Face mask. The activated charcoal can help to reduce blemishes and clear out clogged pores filled with blackheads. The key in using this face mask is to be sure to clean your face completely after use. I cannot emphasize this enough and I wish other companies would as well. When you use activated charcoal, it acts like a sponge –attracting and absorbing all your skin’s toxic waste. If you leave that used up, “dirty sponge” on your skin it will create more havoc. A good way to do this is add a splash of water to your face and massage the mask into your skin to exfoliate and then rinse well. Once you're finished rinsing, rinse again for good measure.

Calm and Centered - Alabaster Mask

Our Alabaster face mask is the most underrated in our line up. If you have dry-skin, irritations or inflammation you will wonder how you ever lived without it! The main purpose of this mask is to relax stressed skin. If your skin in not in peak health, when it’s exposed to the elements  (wind, rain, sun) it gets stressed out. The anti-inflammatory properties along with the perfect pH brings balance to your skin. Use it to reduce puffy under-eye skin, for excema, to soothe irritations or as a mild face wash.
