Hydrating Smoothie

The weather may be far from tropical but there’s no reason why you can’t taste the sweet tropics. If you’re stuck dealing with the cold and dry weather while living vicariously through Instagram’s posts of sun and warm beaches, then we have a smoothie drink for you!

Our last post offered some tips on how to combat dry skin during these harsh winter months. Well, here’s another tool for the kit – a healthy green smoothie. This meal in a drink is chock full of fibre which is something that also helps combat dryness.

It’s an easy three ingredients:

  • 1 banana (preferably chopped and frozen. Frozen fruits give smoothies a more creamy texture)
  • 3 cups of apple juice
  • 1 handful of spinach

Blend, drink, feel great!
