The words gingerbread and healthy don’t often appear together but we’ve found one exception in the Gingerbreadman Smoothie!
This is a super tasty shake for everybody in the house because it’s not only good for you but it’s also gluten-free and – for this recipe – dairy free (of course, if you are a dairy lover, feel free to add your favourite milk instead of almond milk).
To make the Gingerbreadman Smoothie:
- 2 frozen bananas (peeled)
- 2 teaspoons of grated ginger (if you have a powerful blender you can use a little block of peeled ginger instead)
- 1.5 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of molasses
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
Mix this all together and enjoy a seasonal treat that tastes delicious without doing any dessert damage.
